Calgaro introduces new “Brillio” jewellery collection

September 2014

Fine Italian jeweller Calgaro introduces its stunning new “Brillio” Collection this fall, announced Michael Pucci, President of the Abbiamo Group, the force behind Calgaro’s global marketing.

The Brillio Collection is comprised of 33 different SKU’s that include bracelets, necklaces, rings and earrings. Sparkling diamond-cut .925 sterling silver beads are the focal point of multiple strand necklace and bracelet combinations – some designs feature brown or black enamel expertly infused into the silver that won’t discolor or fade. Calgaro chains are made from thin strands of .925 silver woven into durable threads, which are pliant and feather-like.

Calgaro is a true innovator of fashion and jewellery. Calgaro was the first to blend two materials that are seemingly polar opposites, weaving .925 sterling silver into fabric. Bracelets and necklaces that once were rigid, are now fluid and free flowing, made from woven silver, like sculptures to be worn. The woven silver thread is colorized in the infinite range of the enamel chromatic palette through a highly innovative, internationally patented, industrial technique. The precious colored fiber is then woven into fanciful textile patterns that form a surprisingly versatile colored texture that feels extremely soft to the touch and pleases the eye with its unique play of shades.

Calgaro has won many prestigious awards including two Gold Virtuosi International Jewellery Awards for Design, Bulgari Award of Excellence and the Gold category Couture Award in Design.
