Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry has named Andrea Hansen, former H. Stern International Communications Director, as the company’s CEO. Ivanka Trump and Moshe Lax of Dynamic Diamond Corp., the partners behind Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry brand, made this formal announcement just short of the company’s second anniversary on Sept. 10.
Hansen, who has more than 20 years of fine-jewelry experience, will be responsible for developing the Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry brand, maximizing the potential of its flagship boutique on Madison Avenue, expanding the current collections, developing e-commerce and structuring the company for global expansion.
“Andrea is a seasoned professional with international experience in all facets of the jewelry business,” said Trump. "She quickly understood why I started this company, and it soon became clear to me she was the strategic, dynamic, and resourceful person I wanted to lead it as we continue to flourish and grow. With Hansen at the helm, Ivanka Trump Fine Jewelry says expansion plans for the company will be funneled through a strategic distribution network that will feature wholesale units, franchising opportunities, and new stores. Long-term plans also include the addition of new categories such as handbags, accessories and fragrance. In the next few months, the company will add new jewelry styles to its best-selling lines, such as the “Mixed-Cut,” “Tassel,” and “Signature Oval” collections, while also continuing to select retail partners among the top players in each market.
