A highlight of this very special sale, which consists exclusively of items from a prominent American collection, is a pair of “tutti frutti” ear clips by American designer David Webb, whose colorful, bold designs seduced not only sophisticated ladies such as Jacqueline Kennedy and the Duchess of Windsor, but also women at the forefront of fashion in the 1960s and 70s like Diane von Furstenberg and Elizabeth Taylor.
