Julianne Moore interprets the spirit and values of Bulgari

February 2010 is the release date for Bulgari’s “Eccentric Charisma” campaign, conceived as an expression of the spirit and values of the brand and an interpretation of a lifestyle that the maison has created over the years through creativity and innovation.

The star of the campaign is Julianne Moore, an actress with 48 films and 4 Oscar nominations to her credit, chosen to represent the style and personality of the Bulgari woman. A choice inspired by her timeless charisma, which transcends the trends and myths of the moment to earn her a place in the history not only of cinema, but of feminine elegance.

The featured item in the “Eccentric Charisma” campaign is the Chandra bag, seen here in the nuances of chestnut and Prussian blue. Already an icon of contemporary luxury and style, chosen by numerous divas of the international jet set, its name means ‘moon’ in Sanskrit. And just like that nocturnal orb, its sinuously rounded forms evoke a radiant and magnetic femininity.

Stylist Julia von Boehm selected a splendid timepiece and some of Bulgari’s most iconic jewels for Ms. Moore’s photo shoot, including a spectacular pair of Haute Joaillerie earrings mounted with two large teardrop emeralds of the rarest green in a setting of baguette-cut diamonds.

The actress also wears jewels from the new Serpenti collection, among which is a bracelet in yellow gold with white mother-of-pearl inserts alternated with brilliant-cut diamonds, inspired by the magic and mystery of a creature that has always been an emblem of wisdom, vitality and eternity.
