Ramon Barcelona launches his new collection Barcelona inspired by the “Flower of Barcelona” or “Panot” the cement tile paving the streets of the city. A unique collection that takes the geometric shapes that capture the attention of the pedestrians on the main avenues of Barcelona.
Pure modernist inspiration
The “Panots” have officially been a part of the city’s landscape since 1916. Although they first appeared on the street a few years before, inspiring the introduction of the industrial design thorough the city’s urban paving.
The most popular Panot, the Flower Panot, was designed by Josep Puig i Cadafalch in 1900 to pave the entrance to the famous modernist building Ametller house on Passeig de Gràcia.
Barcelona Collection jewels
The Barcelona collection, introduced exclusively in the Hong Kong Jewellery & Gem Fair 2014, consists of necklaces, earrings, bracelets and rings, all with the marked influence of this featured geometric flower.
The collection consists of exquisite pieces created with a combination of cutting laser, casting nuances and hours of handmade jewelry that result in unique and exclusive jewelry.
Barcelona go into your jeweler
Ramon wanted to capture the magnetism of the city’s modernism in each piece, giving the wearer not only a valuable jewel design but an iconic and timeless full of symbolism and personality: the essence of Barcelona in each jewel.
