vlgari unveils its latest magnificent chapter in the world of high jewellery and high-end watches: Polychroma, an outstanding, daring ode to the values of colours, plurality, polymorphism and multidimensionality, unified in a universe of chromatic vibrancy and movement.

Like a prism catching light from every angle, Polychroma reveals a universe where countless creations, infinite shades, and precious stones converge in a celebration of radiant beauty. At its peak, five extraordinary, milestone high jewellery masterpieces emerge, each adorned with rare and exceptional gems, as a testament to Bvlgari’s alchemy of transforming raw beauty into emotion-charged works of art.

Rooted in the Greek poly, meaning “multitude”, and chromia, “colours”, with a final nod to Rome, the Eternal City, the name Polychroma is more than a title; it is an evocation, a passion, casting a vision of a world where colour becomes language, movement becomes expression, and every jewel is a portal to a new realm. The collection bridges eras and cultures, crafting a kaleidoscopic dimension, that celebrates, as never done before, the universal language of colour and its power to stir emotions and tell extraordinary stories.

An exceptional selection of 600 masterpieces will be on display, including around 250 new creations, both high jewellery and high-end watches. Among the new Polychroma collection, 60 pieces are millionaire products, the highest number of millionaire creations ever presented. These new creations redefine the limits of artistic expression through extraordinary gemstones and audacious design.

An impressive total of 56 gemstones, both precious and coloured, in a variety of shades and sources, come together in this collection. These gifts of nature are enhanced through 16 different shapes, each carefully chosen to suit the design and achieve perfect harmony. From faceted to cabochon and buff top, every stone has been expertly cut to bring out its unique beauty and character.

In addition, Polychroma has also given birth to extraordinary ultra exclusive Jewellery Bags, Eyewear and Fragrances, three Bvlgari categories where our artisans have blended their unique expertise to turn express the jewellery DNA of the maison across all its metiers d’art.

“Polychroma represents an extraordinary source of pride for all of us at Bvlgari. A unique collection that embodies the very essence of our maison. Each creation is an extraordinary testament to our colourful and vibrant DNA, a celebration of the boldness that has always set Bvlgari apart, making it the world’s greatest Italian jeweller with a timeless and unmistakable style. Polychroma redefines the boundaries of craftsmanship, gemmology, and goldsmithing excellence, with every piece standing as a masterpiece of art, each gemstone an expression of unparalleled rarity and beauty. This collection not only honours Bvlgari’s heritage but also reaffirms our commitment to excellence, constantly pushing the limits of what luxury can represent,” states Jean-Christophe Babin, CEO Bvlgari Group.

The enchanting and captivating majesty of the collection is epitomised in the fabulous Gallery of Wonders, boasting five unparalleled creations that redefine high jewellery with their breathtaking colours, remarkable cuts, and rarest gems. Each product is a true masterpiece, embodying Bvlgari’s extraordinary craftsmanship.

At its heart, Polychroma celebrates the boundless creativity and vibrancy that arise from the fusion of different worlds and eras.

Staring at the celestial constellations and at the same time admiring the domes defining the iconic Roman skyline, Creative Director Lucia Silvestri found inspiration for Bvlgari Cosmic Vault, a stunning tribute to astral beauty and architectural grandeur. This mesmerising creation, seamlessly blending divine symbolism and architectural magnificence, reveals a 123.35-carat Sri Lankan sugarloaf sapphire in a deep and intense Royal Blue tone, that immediately brings the memory back to the 66-carat gem in the iconic necklace designed for Elizabeth Taylor. The sugarloaf cut gives the gem incredible softness and sinuosity for a velvet-like texture, perfectly combining with the intricate yet flexible structure enabling comfortable wearability. Crafted from the combination of over 200 alternating elements, it shows 331 buff-top sapphires carefully chosen for their peculiar shades of blue, along with 13 diamond drops, all conjuring an exceptional choreography of aesthetic lightness.

In keeping with the collection’s multicultural and diverse spirit, Jericho’s 18th century Tree of Life mosaic inspires the joyful and graceful harmony of the Bvlgari Celestial Mosaic necklace. A central 131.21-carat spinel from Tajikistan, the world’s fourth largest spinel in the world and the first in terms of quality, seems to radiate a kaleidoscope of hues, spanning from the deep turquoise of a very rare tourmaline to the multicolour mosaic of buff top emeralds, onyx and diamonds. This vibrating standout piece, that reveals influences from Mughal art, combines almost 200 elements connected by masterfully executed and flexible joints that guarantee a perfect fit. Boldness and timeless grace meet in this outstanding necklace infused with paradisical splendour.

An ode to beauty and femininity, the Polychromatic Bloom is injected with an unapologetic joie de vivre. As our Creative Director Lucia Silvestri says, this vibrant creation is “one of Polychroma’s emblems”. Crafted from more than 500 pieces, it reflects the collection focus on audacious colour combinations matched with elegant volumes. Three upscale gems steal the show: a central 106.36-carat rubellite is juxtaposed with a 55.52-carat peridot and a 55.11-carat tanzanite, an incredible trio where the choice of the cabochon cut highlights Bvlgari’s daring spirit. Set in rose gold, these remarkable gems, showing extraordinary transparency and liquid colour depth, are surrounded by blossoming petals, their classic appeal counterbalanced by the striking modernity of the graphic, tridimensional chain. Nature and human artistry team up to deliver magnificent opulence.

“With Polychroma, we have elevated one of Bvlgari’s defining traits: the masterful use of colour, its extraordinary combinations, and the exceptional quality in terms of the highest-level craftsmanship. This collection is an enchanting journey into the vibrant world of colour, a celebration of the endless shades and depths that make it so alive. The inspiration comes from a rich tapestry of cultural influences, blending artistic and architectural suggestions from across the world. With each piece, we explore the limitless possibilities of colour, bringing together hues that speak to the heart. Polychroma reaches its pinnacle through the Gallery of Wonders, where five one-of-a-kind creations come to life, each a masterpiece crafted from the rarest, most unique gems. Working with these gifts of nature, which possess such rarity and exceptional features, fills me with wonder every day,” commented Lucia Silvestri, Bvlgari Jewellery Creative Director.

Celebrating the heritage through an innovative, groundbreaking spirit, the maison offers a new outstanding interpretation of the iconic Trombino ring, a piece first designed in 1928 by Leonilde Bulgari for her mother, defined by a specific layout featuring a central gem surrounded on both sides by three diamond baguettes and diamond pavés. For “Polychroma”, the Roman High Jeweller unveils Essence of Yellow, an exceptional Trombino platinum ring, revealing an over 45-carat fancy vivid yellow diamond, an extremely rare gem, appearing only once every four or five years and representing 1 in every 8 million stones. Instead of taking a more expected and traditional path, Bvlgari, considered the unparalleled colour intensity of the gem, stepped away from a classic multi-faceted cut that normally serves to emphasise diamonds’ colours and opted for an emerald Asscher-cut, making this piece even more impressive. Featuring 42 step-cut diamonds and pavé sets, this work of art radiates joy and sun’s vitality, along with highlighting the architectural elegance of the House’s signature craftsmanship.

The Magnus Emerald necklace sits at the intersection of classicism and modernity. A timeless diamond rivière at the back, a bold architectural design at the front and a fluid sautoir silhouette perfectly coexist to magnify the natural perfection of the 241.06-carat emerald, one of the most remarkable stones ever emerged from the Colombian mines. Designed to honour the multifaceted gem’s vibrant green colour, as well as its undisputed brilliance and transparency, this sautoir, echoing the Seventies’ effortless elegance and free-spirited sophistication, embodies Bvlgari’s desire to break boundaries – its emerald is the biggest ever used by the Roman jeweller – and to glorify the gifts of nature as well as the human ability to imagine and craft with no limits.

Polychroma’s multifaceted and diverse spirit also reflects in the breathtaking High-End Watches collection, that perfectly combines the most sophisticated Swiss made timepiece craftsmanship with the Roman jeweller’s signature ability to exalt the most precious and rarest gems.

Inspired by Rome’s polymorphic beauty, the Nuvole Preziose pendant watch shows an octagonal shape echoing the ceiling of Basilica Maxentius. Featuring a 6.88-carat certified cushion-cut yellow sapphire standing at the centre of the dial, this incredible pendant watch, that required 1’560 hours to be completed, shows a butterfly set on trembler that is inspired by a vintage Bvlgari brooch, while the detachable clouds can be worn as earrings. Made out of the brand’s signature mix of yellow and white gold, spikes are crafted to represent the sun rays of Gian Lorenzo Bernini’s altarpiece at Rome’s Santa Maria Della Vittoria church. A tribute to majestic nature and Italian light is expressed in the bright, celestial colours that adorn this piece.

Depicting a dark Roman night illuminated by fireflies, the Notte Stellata Diva watch is an ode to exquisite delicacy. The dial, covered with a dome referring to Bvlgari’s iconic cabochon cut, reveals a moon set with princess cut diamonds and pavé snow setting, as well as moving fireflies set on tremblers, crafted from yellow diamonds and blue sapphires. The outstanding richness of the dial continues with the flexible and comfortable bracelet showing dégradé blue sapphires and a yellow diamond and blue sapphire firefly.

Polychroma explores both the divine light hues of a Roman day as well as the mystical colours of a Roman night. Notte Stellata Diva’s dial doesn’t have a regular shape, it’s full of mystery and hidden facets just like a starry night’s sky.

Embodying Bvlgari’s extraordinary ability to reinvent itself and project its heritage into the future, the Serpenti Aeterna watch reveals the Roman Maison’s contemporary take on the iconic snake: sleek and sublime in its pure essence. Eliminating the superfluous, the shape of the reptile is just evoked, the focus is on the powerful, transformative attitude of this eternal symbol of metamorphosis. Modern, sharp, and bold, the watch, crafted from white gold, shows a bangle-shaped bracelet that effortlessly sits on the wrist with comfort and elegance. Available in 2 versions, one featuring diamonds mixed with sapphires and one where diamonds are combined with emeralds, this stunning watch shows a dial with brilliant-cut diamonds pavé and blue or green hands.

In keeping with the collection’s most authentic spirit, the Gioco di Forme e Colori secret watch is a tribute to both Bvlgari’s Roman roots and its unique and incredible colour sensitivity. An exuberant triumph of creativity and craftsmanship, this artwork has the dial covered with a detachable brooch, enriched with a central 12.34-carat tanzanite, as well as golden rays, inspired by Rome’s glimmering sun, to enhance the brilliant colours, punctuated by a cascade of gems, including emeralds, sapphires, rubies, and garnets, among others, cut in different shapes. To complete this extraordinary creation, Bvlgari chose a playful bracelet, with links moving from right to left as an ode to the most forward-thinking and dynamic maximalism.

With the Tubogas e Colori manchette watch, Bvlgari celebrates its signature Tubogas, here presented in a flexible rose version decorated with daring combinations of gemstones and hardstones. They span from tourmalines, citrines and rubellites to sodalite, turquoise, malachite and coral, revealing an array of different colours and geometric shapes, their sharpness counterbalanced by Bvlgari’s rounded claws. A 6.65-carat transparent natural amethyst beautifully covers the dial for a daring, liquid effect.

“Fine jewellery continues to redefine the boundaries of watchmaking, offering creations of continually renewed complexity and beauty. Each new development builds on its preceding one, continually pushing back the boundaries of what is possible. The Piccolissimo movement gives us the opportunity to explore new colour palettes and revisit the composition of iconic watches. This miniature movement enables us to create jewellery watches of exceptional quality. These creations are frequently inspired by our archives, thereby preserving a strong link with our heritage,” states Fabrizio Buonamassa Stigliani, Product Creation Executive Director.

All the watches, except for the Serpenti Aeterna, feature the Piccolissimo mechanical micro round movement, that with a 12mm diameter, a thickness of 2.50mm and a weight of just 1.30 grams stands out as the smallest on the market.

With unparalleled artistry and mastery, Bvlgari extends its renowned aesthetic and expertise into the world of accessories, unveiling an extraordinary collection of High Jewellery bags, each meticulously designed to captivate with its mesmerising allure and exceptional details. Created under the vision of Bvlgari’s Accessories Creative Director, Mary Katrantzou, the collection features a variety of striking shapes, seamlessly merging exotic skins with detachable jewellery closures that can be worn as pendants, each reflecting Polychroma’s dedication to extraordinary colour harmonies. Bvlgari’s iconic Serpenti, Monete, and Divas’ Dream motifs emerge as timeless symbols of beauty and artistry, epitomising the brand’s legacy of craftsmanship.

Where artistry coils with elegance, the Serpenti sunglasses are a tribute to refined craftsmanship and boundless imagination. Sculpted in 18kt rose gold, the serpent comes to life through a body of mobile gold beads and brilliant-cut diamonds, while its hypnotic gaze is set with pavé and baguette-cut gemstones. With a rimless frame and a made-to-order design, each pair becomes a canvas for personal expression, from lens shape and colour to dazzling stone combinations and engraved temples. This is not just eyewear, it’s a wearable masterpiece, crafted for those who see the world through a lens of eternal beauty.

Eternal symbol of transformation and seduction, the snake stands out also as the guardian of three magnificent one-of-a-kind perfume masterpieces.

Master Perfumer Alberto Morillas has sculpted a kaleidoscopic and sophisticated fragrance with sumptuous raw materials that express the radiance of the colours in the Polychroma High Jewellery collection - a concurrence of sensual rare ingredients creating intriguing depth and complexity. The composition combines the queen of flowers, Rose, with Tuberose and Jasmine Sambac, and the most precious materials in perfumery - Incense, Sandalwood and Oud Assafi - to create a regal ambery floral signature.

Individually crafted by the expert hands of Murano artisans, the three flacons of the Bvlgari Polychroma perfume collection embody centuries of Venetian tradition where breath and fire are used to shape molten glass. Each bottle is enriched not only by a snake jewel wrapping around the top of the bottle, but also by a detachable brooch, showing a combination of precious gems in incredible colour pairings. The Bvlgari Polychroma Vitae design features 23.1-carats of diamonds, emerald and onyx; the Bvlgari Polychroma Fortunae design, 18.66-carats of diamonds, tanzanite, green tourmaline, amethyst, rubellite, corallium rubrum, and onyx, and the Bvlgari Polychroma Astrae design, 24.9-carats of diamonds, tanzanite, turquoise, citrine and mother-of-pearl.

Reimagining new, infinite shapes, crafting a bold universe of colours and eternally inspired by Rome’s vibrancy, with Polychroma Bvlgari fully expresses its innate artistry in blending multiple influences. A mesmerising celebration of creativity, craftsmanship and excellence.
