rue Appeal defies the expected. Rather than enclosing the apple within a solid silhouette, Fullord opens its structure to let light pass through, illuminating a fully set diamond interior. What is usually concealed becomes the very heart of the design — an invitation to look inward, and to reconsider what lies beneath the surface.
Pink sapphires define the outer frame, black diamonds mark the core, and tsavorites bring the leaf to life. Together, they create a composition that plays on the tension between inside and outside, depth and transparency, the familiar and the revealed.
Achieving this level of openness required precise engineering. The earrings command a striking visual presence while remaining remarkably light in wear — a deliberate balance between volume and comfort, engineered down to the last detail.
The combination of multiple gemstone varieties, calibrated sizes and curved pavé surfaces demanded exceptional hand-setting expertise and meticulous stone selection. In total, between 140 and 160 hours of specialised craftsmanship were dedicated to the completion of a single pair.
True Appeal is nominated in the Collection of the Year category at the upcoming Professional Jeweller Awards 2026 – a distinguished industry ceremony celebrating excellence and innovation in jewellery. Taking place on Wednesday, September 2nd, this year’s edition introduces new categories reflecting the evolving landscape of fine jewellery in 2026, assessed by a dedicated panel of expert judges.
Rather than enclosing the form, these earrings open it. Light reveals a fully set interior, while engineered lightness transforms volume into ease. True Appeal becomes a study of inner and outer expression, where structure, light and meaning exist as one.
