Giberg unveils Eldur, a new men's bracelet collection

The Swiss jewellery House specialising in men’s jewellery presents a new bracelet collection defined by its understated aesthetic and strong identity.

ounded within the Biel-based foundry Altmann Casting, Giberg has developed a distinctive approach to jewellery making, based on complete control of its manufacturing process, from the casting of precious metals (platinum and gold) through to the finished object.

This close connection to precious metals has shaped many of the brand’s defining creations. Among them is Ahton, a five-kilogram solid gold dragon created by Andreas Altmann between 2007 and 2012.

More than a unique sculpture, Ahton marked an important moment in Giberg’s development. Through its technical complexity and artistic ambition, it helped define many of the principles that continue to guide the brand today: innovation, creative freedom and a deep understanding of the material.

With Eldur, Giberg brings that same expertise to a more understated piece of jewellery. Eldur takes its name from Old Norse and means “fire” : a reference to the casting process and to the transformation of gold.

Cast from a single block of gold, the bracelet reveals an intricate, almost organic structure inspired by woven metal. Intersecting lines create a subtle interplay of density and openness, precision and strength. The manufacturing process allows forms that would be difficult to achieve through traditional assembly techniques.

“Eldur reflects many of the ideas and techniques we have developed over the years. At the same time, it allows us to apply our know-how to a bracelet designed for everyday wear. It expresses our desire to continue evolving while remaining true to the values that have shaped GIBERG from the beginning,” says Andreas Altmann, Founder.

The collection is available in 18-carat rose, yellow and white gold, with or without a setting of eleven natural diamonds (0.07 ct, VS to VVS quality). The technical rubber straps are available in five colours, while each bracelet can be tailored to its wearer through a choice of sizes.

To ensure traceability, the diamonds are equipped with a proprietary technological fingerprint. Every bracelet is accompanied by an NFC card providing information on the materials used, manufacturing process and technical specifications. Like every Giberg creation, Eldur combines technical craftsmanship with practicality. Particular attention was given to the clasp, which incorporates a ceramic cylinder to ensure easy opening and closing.

Each piece is entirely crafted within the foundry, ensuring consistency at every stage of production, from alloy selection to final finishing.

Eldur adapts naturally to both active and more formal occasions. Production remains deliberately limited, reflecting the nature of the materials and the complexity of the manufacturing process. With its distinctive character and personalisation options, the bracelet is intended to become a trusted everyday companion.

“Eldur was born from a clear intention: to create a bracelet that is discreet, comfortable and easy to wear. It was designed for people who appreciate simplicity with character. At the same time, it reflects the expertise, attention to detail and commitment to quality that define Giberg,” explains Zino Spinedi, CEO.
