n 2004, IsabelleFa presented the first jewellery pieces from its now iconic Flix.Flex collection. The name stands for flexible collars and bangles handcrafted exclusively from 18-karat gold in Eisingen, Germany. They open with a gentle twist and can be effortlessly slipped over the wrist or around the neck.
The secret of this flexibility is not the usual inner core of titanium, steel or a spring. Instead, traditional goldsmithing techniques and tools, such as draw benches and rollers, are used to forge an almost invisible open seam inside the jewellery, to give each piece its flexibility. The Flix. Flex collars and bangles are available in various minimalist designs, offering a range of styling options. They can also be set with a diamond pavé.
IsabelleFa creates only a few hundred pieces of jewellery per year and sets global standards with unique handcrafted collars, bangles and chains. Centuries-old knowledge and artisanal skills are at risk of being lost nowadays, as most jewellery pieces today are machine-made, e.g., stamped, cast, electroformed or 3D-printed.
IsabelleFa’s mission is dedicated to cherishing and preserving the almost forgotten craft of chainmaking, whose origins date back to ancient times To this day, all IsabelleFa jewellery pieces are handcrafted in Eisingen, Germany, where the traditional know-how is passed down from one generation to the next.
