ome Jewelry Week returns to the Italian capital with a programme of exhibitions, talks, performances and awards conceived by architect and curator Monica Cecchini. Its central exhibition takes place at the Corsie Sistine, within the Santo Spirito in Sassia Monumental Complex, bringing together different generations, cultures and approaches to jewellery.

The theme for 2026, “The Crown of Ingenuity”, presents jewellery as a narrative of Italian art and culture over the past 80 years. Following previews at Villa Altieri and the Incinque Open Art Monti gallery, the main exhibition explores both established goldsmithing traditions and experimental practices.

Solo presentations feature Hiromi Suter, Yu Bin Lee and Hani Baayoun, winners of the 2025 Incinque Jewels Award, alongside Alberto Zorzi, Mariam Ayvazyan, Gabriele Pedrona, Rossella Ugolini and other international designers. Special guests include Alessio Boschi, Percossi Papi and François Santo. Roman houses Ansuini, Angeletti and Fanuele represent the capital’s jewellery heritage, while participants from Shenzhen extend the exhibition’s international reach.

Cross-disciplinary exchange is central to the Aurea Roma Capsule Project. The initiative pairs jewellery designers and master goldsmiths with artists working in painting, sculpture, architecture, dance, music and cinema. Each partnership is invited to develop a single piece through a shared creative process.

Music also takes a more intimate form in “Ritratti Musicali” (*Musical Portraits*), making its world premiere at the exhibition. Developed by composer and jazz pianist Klaus Bellavitis, the project connects pieces by Incinque Jewels’ resident artists with specially composed musical works, accessed through QR codes incorporated into the jewellery.

The Incinque Jewels Award returns with categories for Fine Jewelry and Experimental Jewelry. Established in 2019, it offers exhibition and promotional opportunities while considering jewellery’s capacity to communicate messages of social value. Further awards recognise contributions to design, craftsmanship and communications, while the Inhorgenta Award gives a young designer the opportunity to participate in the trade fair’s 2027 edition.

The programme also encompasses support for emerging artists, fashion presentations and performances, extending the conversation between jewellery, the body and other creative disciplines.
