Centurion South Beach is gearing up for a strong fourth year serving the seasonal and holiday buying needs of retailers from Florida and all over the United States, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and elsewhere.

The show will take place October 5-7, 2013 at the Ritz-Carlton South Beach Hotel, 1 Lincoln Road, just off South Beach’s famed Collins Ave., and a short walk from the Miami Beach Convention Center, where the concurrent JIS Miami Beach show will being held.

Centurion South Beach show hours will be from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday, October 5 and 6, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Monday, October 7.

Centurion South Beach will feature more than 50 top designers and manufacturers in the elegant Ritz Carlton ballroom, in expanded space and a new white salon scheme created by CSI etc., Centurion’s Scottsdale show decorator.

“The new look will give exhibitors more than 60% more space in which to work with their retailers,” said Centurion president Howard Hauben. “Lower salon heights and a clean, standard design will provide a beautiful open feeling in the exhibit area, yet allow ample privacy for meetings and security. Cocktail party, retailer event, and sales seminars: On Saturday evening, October 5, from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Ritz Carlton Miami Beach, Centurion South Beach exhibitors and retailer attendees are invited to the show’s Welcome Cocktail Party, featuring drinks and hors d’oeuvres sponsored by: CIRCA, DGI, Logic Mate, The Gordon Company, The Knot and W.R. Cobb.

Beginning Sunday morning, October 6 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. in the Lincoln and Lomas Rooms on the third floor, the 2013 Centurion South Beach Education program gets underway with a Retailer Special Events seminar presented by Terry Sisco of ExSellerate! and Mark Motes of Smyth Jewelers, Timonium, MD. Continental breakfast will be served.

On Monday, October 7 from 9-10 AM (in the Lincoln and Lomas Rooms on the 3rd floor) again over continental breakfast at the Ritz Carlton South Beach, retailers Brittany Adair of Romance Diamond Company, Fayetteville, AR, and Bill Nusser of Hands Jewelers, Iowa City, IA, will present their expertise on what all jewelers want to know: How to Close More Sales at Higher Gross Margins.

New retailer Postcard Power program: “Centurion South Beach is very pleased to introduce a new and very affordable way for attending retail jewelers to get out a great jumbo postcard mailing within 30 days after the show and in time for the upcoming season,” said Hauben. Postcards are either 6.5” x 11” or 8.5” x 11.

“Just come to the show with your vector logo on the thumb drive; meet with exhibitors to select your merchandise (they will advise which images are available for the program); and visit the Retailer Postcard Power Desk to work with our manager to design your card. The cost is just $1950 for 5,000 cards printed and mailed to the postal carrier routes you select,” he explained.
