Thailand’s only mid-year gems and jewellery trade event, the International Gems & Jewelry Thailand Fair, will be held 13-16 June 2013 at the Royal Paragon Hall, Bangkok.
Inter Expo Management Co Ltd is organizing this premiere edition of the International Gems & Jewelry Thailand Fair 2013, which will publicize trade and promote business among the Thai gem and jewellery industry and international counterparts.
Inter Expo Management Co Ltd has been established by Mr Somnuk Kyavatanakij, CEO of Tong Hua Communication PCL, and Mr Mohan Sachdeva, managing director of BG&J Co Ltd, publishers of Bangkok Gems & Jewellery Magazine.
Tong Hua Communication PCL, established on 16 March 1961, is listed on the Stock Exchange of Thailand, and is a ranking company in print media. At the same time, Mr Somunk is the Chairman of TC Exhibition Services Co Ltd, which is a member of the Tong Hua Group, a large and diversified business consortium. TC Exhibition Services Co Ltd has wide experience in many areas of business, including advertising, public relations, accident insurance brokerage, and in the organization and management of events and exhibitions. TC Exhibition Services Co Ltd has been organizing trade fairs since the year 2000, and supplies expertise for trade shows of every kind: management, design, prefabricated booths, special booths, decorations and display, construction planning, carpet laying, and furniture rental.
The BG&J Group, headed by Mr Mohan Sachdeva, has 25 years experience in gems and jewellery media in Thailand and abroad, and in organizing trade fairs for the industry both locally & Internationally.
As Thailand’s only mid-year event for the industry, the IGJ Thailand 2013 offers Thai producers and traders the opportunity to exhibit goods to a market segment – the mid-year international buyers and dealers – who have, until now, been only lightly catered for.
The Fair’s downtown venue – the Royal Paragon Hall – is Bangkok’s finest upmarket retail facility. As well as being the most convenient location in the city, the venue can yield walk-in traffic to the Fair, comprising individuals who are accustomed to selecting and purchasing fine jewellery and gemstones.
