The 5th edition of “The Jewels of France” debut in Beverly Hills

The French Trade Commission-UBIFRANCE and The Mark Kearney Group are presenting the sparkling highly anticipated 5th edition of “The Jewels of France,” an exclusive trunk show featuring exquisite new collections by some of the most renowned jewelers in France, from October 18-20, 2011.

The Opening Night Reception on October 18th, 6:00-8:00 pm, will be held under the patronage of David Martinon, Consul General of France. A-list celebrity guests will step out on the red carpet event to celebrate prestigious French jewelers and culture, from wine and Haute Cuisine to fashion and music.. Proceeds will benefit the Arthritis Foundation’s Juvenile Arthritis programs.

Damoiselle D, Poiray

The evening will inaugurate a spectacular three-day show, which will showcase seven jewelers who embody French expertise, quality and craftsmanship. This trunk show will be launched at world famous Jewels by Nasrin Imani, 9777 Wilshire Blvd., Beverly Hills, from Tuesday, October 18th to Thursday, October 20th.

Mathon, Pacôma

The Closing Night Reception on October 20th, 5:00-8:00 pm, will be held at Perrin Paris, an elegant boutique offering luxury leather goods in Beverly Hills. Proceeds from the evening will benefit the Los Angeles Dream Center.

Launched in 2008, the “Jewels of France” show has become an annual “rendez-vous” for the finest artisan designers of French jewelry. Seven collections that epitomize the brilliance of contemporary French jewelry design will take center stage. Damoiselle D, inspired by the French cultural heritage, crafts and jewelry expertise, Damoiselle D fills the missing gap of refined and eternal ladylike watches; Edéenne, a young, talented designer, whose work was recently showcased at the Museum of the Legion of Honor in Paris; Mathon, known for their dazzling use of color and nature-inspired motifs; and Poiray, known for “Ma Première” watch, “The Heart” and the “Symbole” Ring (in which a hidden message can be engraved),. The show also includes Tahitian pearl designs by Pacôma; Valerie MacCarthy, a renowned opera soprano turned jewelry designer with eco-inspired creations of gold, silver and Brazilian wood; and Aveva, which will exclusively design unique fantasy pieces for clients.
